Kip half fell asleep, and began to roll over, like he would do if he was in his bed. Instead, he splashed into the stream, the sound going quite a ways away. He stood up, soaked, and shook his brown hair to get some of the water off. He looked down at his dripping wet clothes. "Just my luck!" he chuckled.

Skylen looked around as she her a loud splash. She jumped down from the roof, landing easily on her feet then ran off into the forest, stopping as she saw Kip standing in the water, soaking wet. Skylen burst out laughing. "Looks like someone wanted to go for a dip" she said.

Kip looked up as he heard laughing. He saw Skylen, and he glared in a playful way at her. He then went wolf and shook his wet pelt. He howled to Skylen and flicked his tail before running off into the forest, as if saying that she could come along.

Skylen stood there for a moment unsure if whether she should follow. She sighed and ran after him, turning wolf as she did.

Kip chuckled to himself as he heard Skylen following him. He hadn't actually expected that. He continued running, looking around for something certain.

Skylen felt uncomfortable in her wolf form. She sighed and went half-wolf and climbed up a nearby tree. She jumped from one tree to the next following Ky as he went.

Kip looked up as he heard Skylen's pawsteps suddenly stop. He saw her jumping through the trees. He went half-wolf, still going almost the same speed as he had as a wolf. He looked up at her with his golden brown eyes. "Are you a monkey?" he called up to her teasingly.

Skylen jumped out of the tree she was in, landing in front of Kip, making him stop aburptly. "No, I'm cat." She said, rolling her eyes, adding a sarcastic meow. Skylen shook her head. "Where we headed off to anyways?" She said looking around.

"Haha, funny," he said at her sarcastic comment, then replied to her question. "Somewhere," he grinned. "You'll see," He continued walking, moving around Skylen to do so. He turned around so that he was walking backwards. "Come on, Cat!" he said as he turned back around to walk forwards and picked up his walking pack slightly.

Skylen frowned. She growled at his cat comment and followed him as he walked off.

He laughed has he heard her growl. "We're nearly there," he said surely.

Skylen rolled her eyes. "That's what they always say."

"Maybe, but," he said, pointing in front of them. "Where we are going is right up there - so it won't take long. Promise," he said, even making a cross over his heart to prove his point.

Skylen rolled her eyes. "OK ok lets go then." she said, pushing him along.

Kip rolled his eyes at her. He kept his eyes locked on a single tree as they neared it. "Here we are!" he said, gesturing with his hands at the tree as they stopped in front of it.

Skylen looked at it. "A tree?.. You brought me out here to see a tree?" She said, adding a bit of sarcasim.

"No, not just a tree. The tallest tree in this forest." he said, patting the trunk. "You can see the whole forest from the top," He went human, not seeing a point in being half-wolf. He began climbing the tree at a steady pace. "Come on!" he said, looking back down at Skylen and grinned. "Trust me - there is an amazing view from the top,"

Skylen rolled her eyes and went back to human. She growled and started climbing, she lost her footing, cathcing herself before she fell. Skylen began climbing again. "This better be worth it." She muttered.

"Oh, you're just not used to climbing," he said, quite a few branches ahead of her. "And it will be worth it,"

Skylen shook her head but continued to climb.

"Almost there!" he encouraged. They were about 4/5's of the way up. As Kip reached the top, he sat down on the branch with his legs hanging over. "Definitely worth it," he said as he gazed out over the beauty of the forest. He spoke half to himself.

Skylen sat down on a sturdy branch a little bit lower than Kip. She looked around at the tree tops below her, she yawned, tired from climbing.

Kip sucked in a sarcastic hurt gasp as he heard her yawn. "Was it not worth it?" he asked her.

Skylen looked up at him. "No, it's beautiful.. but I'm tired. I should be heading home soon." She said, looking down at the forest floor which was far below.

He grinned to himself as she said it was beautiful - like he said it would be. "Can you even get down?" he asked, chuckling softly, as she looked downwards.
