Eclipse whimpered slightly as he was stuck at the base of the tree. He dug his claws deep into the bark but he could only get a couple of feet off the ground before he fell onto his back. He looked up from the floor and his paws dangling in the air.

Skylen laughed as Eclipse tried to climb the tree. "Down boy!" She shouted. Skylen giggled as he fell onto his back. Skylen made her way to the ground, kneeling next to Eclipse. "Awww my poor boy.." She said childishly.

Eclipse whimpered, playing the part of 'Skylens poor boy'. He kept his paws dangling in the air for effect although he felt them tiring in this awkward position.

Skylen smiled. She took the necklace off from around Eclipse's neck. She stood up and began walking away slowly with the necklace in her hands, smiling.

"Aroo?" Eclipse looked at Skylen puzzled and suddenly he felt compelled to follow her...so he did.

Skylen looked back, smiling when she saw she was being followed. She began running until she came to a small open meadow. Skylen leaped onto a large boulder, sitting down on it's sun warmed surface. She put the necklace on around her neck. Skylen looked behind her to see Eclipse approaching ,she closed the necklace, watching as he went back to his human form. She smiled, and looked away at the open meadow before her as the sun shown down on it.

Eclipse looked at his hands momentarily before running up to Skylen, "I believe you have something of mine" he nudged her in the side and smiled.

Skylen looked up at Eclipse grinning. "Oh, no, I don't think I recall taking anything sir." She replied.

Eclipse suddenly started getting cranky and a headache started flaring up. He couldn't explain the feeling other than some sort of withdrawal symptom. Eclipse tried to ignore the feeling, "C'mon Skylen this isn't funny give it back please"

Skylen got off of the rock and slowly took the necklace off. She handed it to Eclipse and without a word sat back down on the rock, looking down at the ground.

Eclipse quickly put it back around his neck and sat down, his headache changed into a sense of dizziness before disappearing. "That...was wierd," he murmured not really understanding his feelings.

"hmph." Skylen muttered, her high spirits suddenly smashed down. She grumbled to herself and went full wolf. She leaped off the rock and slowly trotted off to find a nearby stream.

Eclipse followed Skylen realised he had ruined her fun he sighed and followed her to the stream.

Skylen soon came to the small stream. She laid down at the bank, staring at the water.

Eclipse sat down next to Skylen and put his hand on her head and ruffled her fur slightly, "I'm sorry Skylen, I don't know what came over me..." Eclipse couldn't ignore the sense of guilt when he saw Skylen, in whatever form, in the condition she was at the moment.

Skylen went back to human form. She looked at Eclipse, smiling faintly. "It's alright... I just shouldn't have taken the necklace..."

Eclipse smiled, "I know what it is...It's coz you can't stand a guy wearing a necklace isn't it," he nudged Skylen in the side teasingly while chuckling.

Skylen giggled. "Maybe." She said slyly. "Ooorrr. I think it just looks better on me." She said, giving a small pose. She laid down on the ground, her back against the forest floor. She smiled, looking up at Eclipse. "But I mean.. I suppose it looks good on you to..." she added teasingly.

"Well what wouldn't look good on me?" teased Eclipse as he posed in the sunlight for effect. He sat back down and looked into the sky, his head resting on his hands.

"touche'" she said, laughing. Skylen sighed. "this place is calming.." she said as a light breeze began to blow through the trees.

"Yeah it is...I never noticed that before. I guess I was too young to tell the difference between calming and boring...I guess that is why we're out here." Eclipse watched nature go on its daily business infront of him.

Skylen nodded and closed her eyes, sighing. "I wish life would just be like this... peaceful.. easy.. without all the troubles of being... a werewolf." She opened her eyes and sat up, looking at Eclipse. "I've always just wanted to be human... I mean.. it seems so much easier... I mean you don't have to wake up worrying about whether you may get into a fight today, or whether it'd be your last..." She looked down at the ground.

"With greater power comes greater responsibility..."Eclipse looked down at the ground for a second, "It must be hard for you, You never were one so you'll never know...I wouldn't of said human life was perfect but as you said...at least it was safe. I still prefer being a werewolf though, it's given me so much freedom, a life without the television, who would of thought it would happen..."

Skylen looked up at Eclipse smiling. "I suppose that is a big shock for you.." She said teasingly.

Eclipse got up, "I guess we should get back before a search party is sent out for us." He helped Skylen to her feet and began walking back, "I wonder what's on the otherside of this woodland..." he muttered quietly to the floor. He past an old tree which had a patch of bark ripped off its side. He placed his hand on the exposed part of the tree, "Put your hand there, it'll give you good luck."
